Matthew 27:5-7

⁵And when he had cast down the silver pieces in the Temple, he ^[a]departed, and went, ^(A)and hanged himself.

⁶And the chief Priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for us to put them into the ^[b]treasure, because it is the price ^[c]of blood.

⁷And they took counsel, and bought with them a potter’s field, for the burial of ^[d]strangers.
